Egg Monsters

Egg Monsters are a line of transforming toys launched by Bandai in the late 1980s. These innovative figures initially came in the form of plastic eggs, which unfolded to reveal various creatures, such as dinosaurs, insects, or mythical monsters. This unique design captured the imagination of children of the time.

In 2014, Bandai revitalized this concept by introducing the Godzilla Egg Monsters series. This new line allows eggs to transform into famous kaiju from the Godzilla franchise, including Godzilla himself, Mothra, King Ghidorah, Gigan, and Mechagodzilla. These toys offer a dual experience: they can be displayed in egg form or in their transformed monster form.

In 2024, Bandai re-released some of these models, making them available in the US market for the first time. These re-releases allowed a new generation of fans to discover these iconic toys.
