Street Sharks is a 90s animated franchise created by Mattel and aired between 1994 and 1997. It features four brothers transformed into mutant sharks after a botched genetic experiment conducted by the villainous Dr. Paradigm. Possessing superhuman strength and an overly cool style, they fight crime in Fission City while trying to stop their enemy and find their missing father. The series, clearly inspired by the success of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles , made its mark with its muscular characters, 90s-style catchphrases, and its very popular line of action toys at the time.
